Frequently Asked Questions

What experience and qualifications do your teachers have?
All our teachers have extensive experience in the Performing Arts Industry and offer a wealth of knowledge and talent to all our students. All our dance teachers are fully qualified with full DBS checks and PLI insurance.
How does my child get a lead role in the annual Musical?
Every year we hold auditions for our lead roles. All Drama and Musical Theatre students are given the oppertunity to audition for a lead role. If they don't want a lead role then that's not a problem as all of our students appear as ensemble except for our Ballet students.
How do I sign up for a Free Taster Session?
We would love to welcome your child to some free Taster Sessions. Simply head to our Book A Taster page and fill out the form. We offer up to 3 Taster Sessions per child in different sessions so they can find their perfect fit.
What will my child need for classes?
All children are required to wear an AMJ branded t-shirt with either plain black leggings, jogging bottoms or shorts. Children will also need appropriate footwear. For Drama and Musical Theatre they will need Jazz shoes or Jazz Sneakers and our dance students will require appropriate footwear for their discipline. All our Ballet students will need appropriate pink ballet attire. Children will also need to bring a soft drink to class.
Where can I buy the AMJ uniform?
AMJ branded uniform can be purchased via our shop on the Parent Area page of our website. We can also recommend places to purchase dance shoes. Just talk to our teachers or send us a message using our contact form.
